Saint-Charles-Borromée is a Canadian town located in Quebec, in the Joliette Regional County Municipality (MRC) in the Lanaudière region.

The name was chosen in honor of Barthélemy Joliette, whose wife, Marie-Charlotte Tarieu Taillant de Lanaudière, was heavily involved in the construction of the local church. The town was originally intended to be named after her, but since there was no Saint Charlotte, it was decided to masculinize the name, which became Saint-Charles-Borromée. Charles Borromeo (1538-1584) was the Archbishop of Milan and the founder of the Oblates.

The L'Assomption River, which flows from northeast to southeast, forms the eastern boundary of the municipality.
